Dia de los Muertos

Whereas, The Day of the Dead event, organized by HALO in collaboration with CAB, Campus Ministry, and Honors Program invites the community to engage in a fun and enriching experience that explores the cultural and religious significance of this tradition.

Whereas, The Day of the Dead event will take place in the Fugate Gymnasium on October 21st, from 6 PM to 9 PM. HALO plans on offering Food featuring cultural dishes and desserts, along with refreshments, cultural dances, a band, engaging games and prizes, and a raffle.

Whereas, HALO is requesting $1,600 to ensure there are enough funds to cover beverages, food, decor, and prizes. The itemized list of the cost of all the supplies is as follows:

Whereas, the total amount of these items is $1,500.49 The bill requests $1,600 for taxing purposes. All unused funds will remain in the SGA account.

Be it Resolved, the Student Government Association will allocate $1,600 for the purpose of purchasing the above items for El Dia De Los Muertos.
